Luxurious Suite - Train Station Deinze

A great flat, wonderful hosts, a good location Positive: We are a couple of older travellers, so we pay close attention to all the amenities in the hotel or flat we’re staying in. This time we were very lucky, as we were probably among the first guests in this flat, which had been prepared with great care with the residents’ comfort in mind. It’s an excellent choice if you’re planning to visit the most attractive cities in Flanders, such as Ghent, Bruges and others. The train station is just a three-minute walk away. There are plenty of restaurants and shops in Deinze. It’s quite a large town. The flat has all the necessary appliances: a fridge, a deep fryer, a coffee machine, an electric kettle, an electric hob and a dishwasher. Everything is there, new, in good working order and clean. If you arrive by car, parking is easy, either on the street in front of the house or in the free public car park. As for the hosts, Alan and Henry, they’re great blokes – friendly, sociable and always willing to help. They reply instantly to every question; they’re probably the best hosts I’ve had over the last few years of travelling. The flat is on the first floor; if you’re arriving with luggage, the small lift is a great help (as the stairs are narrow and winding). Wi-fi is super fast, and two TV sets on the walls allow watching Netflix, Youtube and regular TV. Negative: There are only small coffee cups in the kitchen; it would be worth adding some larger mugs. In the living room, I’d add another chair or two, which would be useful if anyone needs to work online. It’s a brand-new flat, so only the first guests will be able to spot what else might be needed.
